WASHINGTON — In the final days of a bitter and hard-fought rematch between Rep. Ilhan Omar and Democratic rival Don Samuels, there is another bizarre turn.
Former NBA player Royce White, a Republican candidate for Sen. Amy Klobuchar’s U.S. Senate seat, is urging Minnesota Republicans to vote for Samuels, who came within less than 2 percentage points from defeating Omar in 2022.
