Inaninterview,Ocasio-Cortezsaidherdecisiontogivetothecampaignarm,theDemocraticCongressionalCampaignCommittee,wasdrivenprimarilybythedirethreatofRepublicansstayinginpower.ShefearedaRepublican-controlledHousewouldnotcertifyapotentialreelectionofPresidentJoeBidenthisfall.
